Tuesday morning we got up early and headed southeast from Kodachrome Basin State park on Cottonwood Canyon Road. This is a dirt road that in dry weather is passable using a sedan, but is much easier to navigate with an SUV.
The drive was billed as a photographers dream, and it pretty well lived up to its billing.
This rabbit let us get within about 30 feet of him. There was another rabbit with him, but we didn't get a picture of both of them together.
